Anne Hathaway’s Black Eye Blunder

Getting a little too into her character, Anne Hathaway reportedly gave a stuntman a black eye while on set of “The Dark Knight Rises.”

While filming a scene, the 28-year-old actress got fully engulfed in her role, accidentally striking a nearby stuntman with her prop gun.

According to The Sun newspaper, “Anne got a bit carried away during a fight scene and mistakenly shoved the butt of the gun right into the actor’s eye socket. He came away with a massive black eye — Anne was mortified.”

Trying to smooth over the unpleasant incident, The Sun insider added, “Hathaway gave her fellow actor a silver pen she had specially engraved with the words – ‘Remember no one packs a punch like Anne.’”
