Chris Brown Cries At BET Awards!

In his first live televised performance since assaulting Rihanna, Chris Brown broke down as he performed a tribute to the late King of Pop Michael Jackson.

Donning a fedora and sparkled glove, he mimicked Jackson’s signature ” Moonwalk” across the stage to “Billie Jean” at the BET Awards Sunday in Los Angeles.

But when he grabbed the mic to belt out “Man in the Mirror,” Brown — who has been outspoken about how Jackson influenced his career — lost it.

His voice cracked and he could not sing.

Later in the night, the singer, 21, returned to the stage to accept the AOL Fandemonium Award.

He apologized to his fans.

“I let you all down before,” he said, “but I won’t do it again. I promise you.”
