Daniel Radcliffe: Emma Watson Kisses Like An Animal!

Daniel Radcliffe says that Emma Watson kisses “like an animal,” a comment which has landed him in hot water with his Harry Potter costar. In the Deathly Hallows, Ron sees his best friends Harry and Hermione share a wild, albeit imaginary, kiss. In a hallucination inspired by jealousy, Ron watches as Harry and Hermione strip down and make out.

After Radcliffe’s “complimentary” comments about Watson’s snogging technique, the Hermione actress angrily confronted him on the red carpet.

Radcliffe originally said in an interview that, “I thought it was going to be like a soft, sensual sort of moment, and it was this very vigorous kissing scene…She really went for it, I have to say. It caught me slightly off guard, but yeah, I’m not complaining. Many men would lose a limb to be in that position, so I was absolutely fine with it.”

When asked about getting called an “animal” by her costar, Watson sounded annoyed and angry.

“I don’t know what to say!” she said to the Associated Press. “I don’t know, maybe he was intimidated because I was doing all the work! I guess it’s a compliment. It’s better than him being like, ‘Yeah she was pretty boring to kiss.’ I’d rather be the animal.”
