Ellen DeGeneres Angry At Lady GaGa For Wearing Meat Dress On Her Show

Did Lady Gaga’s raw meat dress leave a bad taste in your mouth? If so, you’re not the only one. Daytime talk show host and animal rights activist Ellen DeGeneres felt the same way when she had to interview the pop star.

The 52-year-old comedian was less than ecstatic to have Gaga and her meat dress appear on the talk show’s eighth season premiere. GaGa has appeared on Ellen’s show twice before, but this time she forgot one important thing: DeGeneres is vegan!

In an interview on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show this morning, DeGeneres confessed “it was more of what I understood went into those things hanging on her. It was sad for me.†DeGeneres explained, “whether you’re vegan or not, it’s just weird to be sitting next to somebody wearing slabs of meat on their head and their body. It’s gross, you know. Even if you eat meat, it’s gross.â€

DeGeneres released a statement this morning saying, “I love Lady GaGa, but as someone who also loves animals it was really difficult for me to sit next to Lady Gaga while she was wearing that outfit.†Although the situation was difficult for DeGeneres, who has been known for her drama-free talk show, the host went the comedic route by giving Gaga a bikini made of vegetables. The gesture was a humorous hit with Gaga and the show’s audience.
