Harrison Ford waiting for Indy 5Sunday, January 31, 2010 3:45 AM
Harrison Ford will make a fifth ‘Indiana Jones’ movie if he’s “still alive”. The 67-year-old actor – who has played the daredevil archaeologist in all four movies of the action-adventure franchise – would definitely be interested in reprising the role as long as the story is ready quickly. Harrison – who worked on all the previous films with George Lucas and Steven Spielberg – said: “If we find a script and develop a story in less than the 18 years it took to make the last one, if I’m still alive, I’ll make myself available.” Although famous for his action and sci-fi roles, the ‘Star Wars’ star is open to lots of different roles nowadays, and joked he would even consider playing a woman. He quipped to Empire magazine: “I have never played a woman. I have never played a fish. I would like to play a female fish – just because of the costume.” Harrison needs to keep his work fresh, otherwise he gets very bored. He said: “I never wanted a real job. If I did the same thing over and over again I would just get bored p**sless. That’s why I do a lot of things. “I become involved in something because I have an emotional relationship with a story. I don’t have ambitions to play a certain type of character, or be in a certain kind of movie. I have an ambition to be useful in the process of telling the story I have come across.” Get more ExpoSay! Follow us on Twitter, Friend us on Facebook |
