Relationship expert Matt Titus tells Popeater.com that some teenage girls have gotten pregnant just so they can land an audition for shows like Teen Mom and 16 and Pregnant. Now that Amber Portwood and her costars have graduated to their 20′s, MTV has started the hunt for more teen mothers to exploit cast.

“The sad state of reality television has created a lowbrow vehicle for untainted train wreck personalities to display their private lives,” Titus says to Popeater. “Getting pregnant to be famous is like eating as many cockroaches as possible in a one minute period.”

You’d think watching Amber Portwood on Teen Mom would act as a deterrent against teen pregnancy, not an inspiration. This just proves you should never underestimate the desperation of wannabe stars.
