Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift just started dating, but that didn’t stop Jake from shelling out $10,000 for his new girl’s 21st birthday present. The Sun reports that Jake bought T-Swift a rare guitar for her big day.

The Fender-Gretsch guitar bears the signature of country music legend Chet Atkins. Jake saw the instrument while visiting Taylor in Nasheville and thought it would make the perfect gift for his country lovin’ girl.

That’s going to be a tough gift to top when Christmas comes around, but one thing’s for sure, Jake can afford to spoil the young singer. Their romance has been anything but cheap. Jake recently flew Taylor half-way across the world on a private jet to spend time with him while he promoted Love and Other Drugs overseas.
