Reports about the death of Jeff Goldblum dying are false. The rumors began circulating the internet after a New Zealand newspaper misprinted the death, and several media outlets picked-up the news. The reports claimed that Jeff died in a tragic fall off a cliff at Kauri Cliffs golf course in Northland.

An authority for the New Zealand police, John Neilson, said the same story circulated a few months ago, but it is not true.
