Jessica Simpson Has Got Just What Haiti Needs – 50,000 Pairs Of Red Patent Leather Stilletos

Adding to the list of celebrities helping out, Jessica Simpson plans to help the victims of Haiti by organizing a shoe drive.

The “Come on Over” singer has announced her plan to join Nashville-base shoe charity, Soles4Souls, in which they hope to collect 50,000 shoes in 50 days. The shoes will then be sent to victims of the devastated Caribbean nation.

The driven 29-year-old appears saying, “Let’s all do everything that we can for the tragedy in Haiti,” in a video clip advertising the campaign. Contributions can be made at www.50000shoes.com.

Meanwhile, celebrities have been doing all they can to help out. Jennifer Aniston, Madonna and Angelina Jolie have all contributed while George Clooney’s “Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief” raised more than $61 million in donations from the public during last weekend’s telethon.
