Liam Hemsworth Riding Miley’s Coattails To The Top?

Liam Hemsworth is swiftly working his way up in Hollywood, most recently negotiating to snag the leading role in the 3D action/adventure flick Arabian Nights (from Inferno Entertainment and Chuck Russell).

According to the Hollywood Reporter, “The period epic centers on a young commander (Hemsworth) who, after his king is murdered in a coup, joins forces with Sinbad and Aladdin to rescue Queen Scheherazade.â€

This is a big opportunity for Liam, considering that until recently he remained relatively anonymous in Hollywood. The Aussie actor has only been involved in a short résumé of films, including soon-to-be-released The Last Song (in which he co-stars with his celeb girlfriend, Miley Cyrus) and the sci-fi mystery drama Knowing.

Guess dating Miley Cyrus has been a lucrative career boost for Liam… Let’s hope that cinematic success isn’t his sole objective, though.
