Neil Patrick Harris: Vanessa Hudgens Delivers In Rent! (VIDEO)

In this video from Entertainment Tonight, Vanessa Hudgens talks about her upcoming performance in the musical “Rent.” She stars in a new production of “Rent” at the iconic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, and her director Neil Patrick Harris says he couldn’t have found a better star for the role of main character Mimi Marquez.

“When you’re thinking of small lists of people who can play roles and you look at Mimi Marquez…Vanessa is like at the top of the list,” Harris said. And Vanessa had kind words for him as well, saying “He’s very eloquent and he’s such an actor’s director because obviously he was an actor before so he knows how to get his point across…He has such an amazing spirit about him that really gives light to everyone.”

The all-star cast also features Wayne Brady and Nicole Scherzinger. Although fans of the musical won’t have many chances to see Vanessa Hudgens in action. The production only plays from August 6-8, so if you’re in Los Angeles hurry up and get tickets now!
