Has Selena Gomez booted Nicole Kidman out of a movie role? Drama, drama, drama.
According to reports from “Variety,”
Selena Gomez is wanted for the youngest of three women starring in Tom Bezucha’s upcoming comedy
Monte Carlo.
Other stars being considered for the flick are
Leighton Meester and
Nicole Kidman. BUT, as of late, the script has opted to take a younger route, and Nicole
clearly isn’t fit for that genre.
From “Variety”: “’Monte Carlo’ will be shot in Monaco, Budapest and Paris. The script is adapted from a novel called ‘Headhunters’ about a group of American women who ditch a disappointing no-frills holiday in Paris and pose as wealthy women vacationing in Monaco. Originally, Kidman was supposed to star, but the updated script has put a younger spin on the story, with two of the characters in college and one just out of high school. Selena would play the youngest of the three. The movie will further the budding relationship between Fox 2000 and Selena, who stars in the studio’s ‘Ramona and Beezus.’”
Nicole Kidman in college? Yeah, right. We’re kinda hoping she DID get the boot from that role. Go Selena!
