Maybe the progression from BFF to BF
is underway for Nick and Sel, but for now at least, she’s keeping the details hushed.
just can’t get enough of life right now. And with her acting career on a sturdy foundation (thanks to her big break on Disney’s
Wizards of Waverly Place) and her singing career quickly accelerating, we can see why the girl is so giddy.
In a recent interview with the California Chronicle, Sel opened up about her artistic drive and her appreciation of Disney’s overwhelming support. She explains about her background, “I
grew up an only child, so I pretty much had to entertain myself, so I would constantly perform. I would sing and I would dance and I would act in, like, my living room.”
On Disney: “I think they were very well aware that I loved music. It was all about when I was ready, I think. And, you know, they take care of their kids and they really are a blessing to work with. They had a big part in helping me get to music.” Well, duh.
Finally getting to the juicy stuff, a question about her ex-boyfriend-turned-BFF,
Nick Jonas, was inevitable. On Nick and their relationship, Sel simply stated that, “He’s a really nice guy and he’s always been a really good friend in my life. So I’m just happy to have him back as a good friend.”
Quickly dodging back to a more a comfortable subject, Gomez added that, “I would like to continue music, but I have a feeling that acting is always going to have a more special place in my heart. So I feel like that’s going to end up taking over. But right now, I’m too obsessed with music.”
Well, if Nick and Selena
