Snooki’s Battle With Anorexia

Nicole Polizzi, famously known as “Snooki†on MTV’s Jersey Shore, recently opened up to about her painful experience with eating disorders. Before finding fame on MTV, the 22 year old suffered from serious insecurities about her body and weight.

She struggled with anorexia and bulimia, both potentially deadly eating disorders. Though the 4 foot 9 inch bronzed party girl may seem tough now, she spent years fighting these diseases. Snooki says she “almost died” and at one point fell to just 80 lbs! Eventually, she started eating healthy and became comfortable in her own skin.

Snooki was recently in Los Angeles for the MTV Video Music Awards where she met with OK! at The London Hotel. Pick up the latest issue to read more about her inner struggle and find out how she developed a positive self-image.
