Did George Clooney invite his girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis‘ parents to Mexico in order to ask them for her hand in marriage?

That’s what the German tabloid Bild claims.

According to the outlet, Canalis’ so-called “friends†have revealed that she and Clooney will wed.

Clooney is “very old school,†explains Bild, so he flew Cesare and Bruna Canalis to Los Cabos, Mexico, where he “asked her parents for her hand†in marriage.

Of course, what the tabloid fails to give is an actual date for the wedding.

That’s because – surprise! – there is no wedding.

When asked whether the latest story is true, a rep for Clooney told Gossip Cop flatly, “No.â€
