VIDEO: Lady GaGa Hatches And Performs “Born This Way” At The Grammys

Watch Lady GaGa emerge from an egg and perform at the 2011 Grammy Awards.

After arriving on the red carpet in a giant egg, Lady GaGa took to the stage to sing her new single “Born This Way.”

GaGa’s gold-clad posse of dancers pushed her onto the stage in the egg, which hatched to reveal the singer in a Madonna-like ponytail. Towards the end of her performance she rocked out on an organ before belting out the final chorus.

Lady GaGa turned heads and put on an entertaining spectacle, as always. Awards Season would be so dull without her.

Critics have noticed that GaGa’s new song sounds an awful lot like Madonna’s “Express Yourself,” and since then Madonna’s Youtube channel has been updated with an MTV VMA performance of the song. Looks like the similarity didn’t slip past Madonna. Check out both performances and decide for yourself.
