Demi Lovato was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on August 20, 1992, although she was raised in Texas. Like her one time BFF Selena Gomez, she got her start on the popular children's show Barney & Friends. She rose to fame starring in Disney programs like Camp Rock and the Princess Protection Program. After a brief stint in rehab for "physical and emotional issues" in 2011, she left her show Sonny With A Chance to focus on her music career.
