Hello Blue Ivy Carter: First Photos Of Beyonce & Jay-Z’s Daughter

On Friday afternoon Beyonce and Jay-Z released the first photos of their newborn daughter on their official Tumblr. Blue Ivy Carter was born January 7, 2012 in New York City.

A handwritten note, possibly penned by Beyonce herself, says “We welcome you to share in our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this Beautiful time in our lives.” The note is signed, “The Carter Family.”

As far as babies go, it’s a pretty cute baby. If she wants, she’ll have her own album by the time she’s eight. Good luck, kid.
